Wow. I almost started crying when I held this in my hands. It’s been 8 years since I played this on a cartridge, and here I am holding one, in the box, with everything still included and in perfect condition, that I got for absolutely free.
My sister purchased a Super Nintendo with a bunch of games from some guy for 125 bucks. It came with a bunch of gems still in their boxes- Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2, A Link to the Past, Super Mario World… and knowing my intense love of super Mario RPG, she gave this to me for my birthday! I’ve had it on a ROM and on Virtual Console since I could never afford it on cartridge, so this is the most exciting thing!
